My first swimsuit sample came along!

All Inclusive in Cancun Reivew!

Friends! Followers! Im blogging...lol. My family and I travel a lot! Usually every other month if not every month. We recently just took a trip to Cancun and we stayed at the All Inclusive Grand Palm Oasis Resort called Sen. We stayed at the resort all but one day. Day 3 we took a catamaran to Isle Mujeres and had lunch on the beach, massages on the beach, and did some shipping. This excursion was recommended to me by someone who has done it twice now. Boat was awesome, pay for the smaller boat, theres less people, captain and staff were awesome, island was gorgeous! Skip the lunch- food was sitting out. Negotiate with the locals on price. Oh and try the fresh fruit stand!

Since I always find it hard to know if someone enjoyed their stay or what they would change in these blogs, so Im going to cut to the chase. Heres the pros and cons, know what's important to you!

PROS:

-Hotel is beautiful. Safe.

-Water and beach are idyllic.

-Snorkeling right off the beach was good too. Kids went everyday!

-Room was clean, next time Id get a balcony.

-We had no theft or sketchy behavior at the resort.

-The pool was huge and you get access to the hotel next doors as well.

-Bars open at 10am and serve you as fast as they can.

-Sen has plenty of food options. Snacking, dinners, lunches, etc. Try the croissants, I think our kids had ten a day! Go to Le Petit Chef! Its extra but such a cool experience!

-Events throughout the day and night to keep kiddos entertained.

-Game room was free and fun too!

-Get the black bracelet!! Every inclusive person gets one but we found out that the black bracelet we got, let us into more restaurants and lots more freebies! Trust me this is worth it.

-Our hotel was filled with culture! I love this! This gave my kids an opportunity to hear different languages, use a few new words and just understand how great big the world is!

CONS:

-The food. I think we had two decent restaurants the whole trip and one of them cost extra.

-Its not the ice or the water that will get ya!! Its the seafood! They give you plenty of bottled water and restock you every day and we even heard that the ice is shuttled in and safe to have. However, I had shrimp from a hibachi style grill one night- I woke up never the same. For two weeks straight, the bathroom and I were in a relationship...and not a good one.

-There can be a language barrier even with just wait staff and housecleaning, my suggestion: learn a few key sentences. You want them to learn our language when they come here? Do the same for your short stay.
